The fit is supremely comfortable and secure – thanks to Giro’s optimally adjustable Roc Loc® MIPS® system, which allows you to adjust the fit to suit you exactly, while always being able to count on the extra protection from rotational forces in the event of an impact.

The outer shell is made from tough polycarbonate, which is firmly bonded to the EPS foam inner shell thanks to our In-Mold™ construction process for improved durability and ventilation.

MIPS^®
All Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible while meeting and exceeding stringent safety standards. The goal of Giro’s MIPS^®-equipped helmets is to reduce rotational forces. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the amount of rotational force that may be transferred to rider’s brain in certain impacts.

Super Fit™ Engineering
Giro’s proprietary Super Fit™ sizing system is based on “human scale factors” data and over 25 years of handcrafting helmets. By creating helmet molds in up to 4 adult sizes to match the human body’s form, Giro’s Super Fit™ sizes comfortably and securely fit riders, and feel like they are custom made just for you.

Wind Tunnel Ventilation
Giro’s helmets are developed utilizing their proprietary Wind Tunnel™ ventilation system. This elaborate design combines active vents in the helmet’s shell with exhaust channels inside the helmet that thrust fresh, cool air over and around the rider’s head while forcing heat and stale air out. It’s the most effective cooling system available, and a difference you can feel every time you ride.

In-Mold Construction
In-Mold Construction fuses a tough polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet’s impact-absorbing foam liner. The fusion process allows for better ventilation systems, making in-mold helmets lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.

Roc Loc Air
The revolutionary Roc Loc^® Air Fit System has the same outstanding features as the Roc Loc^® 5, but in addition to that, it dramatically increases airflow and ventilation inside the helmet. The unique design creates a small air cushion between the helmet shell and the head, so that the wind can flow and cool without disturbing the ride without sacrificing fit and comfort. A new level of fit, comfort and ventilation that can only come from Giro.

Roll Cage™ Reinforcement
Roll Cage™ is a light-yet-tough web of reinforcement invisibly molded inside a helmet’s EPS foam liner. It helps the helmet to hold together under impact, and provides an extra measure of strength and integrity that you’ll never notice…unless you need it.
